Feeling Defeated

"No no no no no!", The Doctor hurried inside of the TARDIS. Amy following suit. "What the matter?",
The Doctor eyed her. "The TARDIS is shifting somewhere else in a different galaxy. This is bad. Oh so bad!", he gently patted the console. "it's okay dear.", he shushed the TARDIS. Amy bit her lip. Seeing him like this made her squirm in her seat. "Want any help, Doctor?", she called.
"No. It's fine. Really!",

She sighs. She wants to do something. Anything. "Are you sure?"

The Doctor stops immediately, his Sonic Screwdriver crashing on the hard floor. And she can hear him softly sobbing.

"Doctor?", she walks up towards the console. "doctor?",
She doesn't see him at all. Something is wrong with the Doctor... and thats bad.

"Amy...", she hears a faint gentle voice of him, and turns to her right. "amy I'm so sorry..."
Then she sees him. His eyes are red, his tears are streaming from eyes. And he can't help it.
She kneels to him, "Whats wrong?"
"Amy...", he gently touches the side of her face.
Then something clicked, he needed comfort. "Doctor, what is wrong?",
"I feel...", his head bent down. "defeated.", his words ached in sorrow. "Defeated? why?"

"Because... something is going to happen, Amy. Something very very very bad. Something, terrible. Everything you know will never have existed. Nothing. I have to do something. Anything, but I can't... something is pulling me away...",

Amy entwined her hands into his. "Whats pushing you away?",
"I don't know.", he leaned in to her. "Amy... your the comfort."
She narrowed her eyes, "Am I pushing you away?",
"No... Amy...",

What was happening to the Doctor. He leaned closer to her, their lips barely touching. And why was Amy still next to him? WHY WON'T SHE MOVE?
